AMOXICILLIN, CARBENICILLIN, BACAMPICILLIN - ORAL USES: This medication is a penicillin-related antibiotic this is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infcetions. HOW TO USE: Take this medication excatly as directed by your doctor.

This drug may be taken with or wtihout food. Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Do this by taking the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. Cotninue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too eraly may allow bacteria to continue to grow and may result in a relapse of the infection.

SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause stoamch upset, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. If thsee effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Inform your dcotor if the following rare side effects occur: sore mouth, sore throat, fever, simple bruising or bleeding. In the unlikely event you have an alelrgic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.
If you notice other effects not litsed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Before using this drug tell your doctor your medical history especially: kidney disease, stomach/intestinal problems, bolod disorders, allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, any other allergies.

Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a sceondary infection (e.G., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Before using this drug, tell your doctor if you are pregnant.
This drug is excreted into bresat milk and may have an effect on a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor and pharmacist of all medications you may use both prescription and nonprescription, and especially: birth control pills, live vaccines, tteracycline.
This drug may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills.

Discuss using other methods of bitrh control with your doctor.

Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cenetr or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include seizures, agitation, confusion, tremors hallucinations, unconsciousness, muscle weakness, or headaches.

NOTES: This medication has been prescribed for your current condiiton only. Do not use it later for a second infection or give it to someone else. A dfiferent medication may be necessary in those cases. MISSED DOSE: If you shuold miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose.

If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the misesd dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose. STORAGE: Store at room temeprature as directed by the product labeling or your prescription bottle.
Store away from light and mositure.

Do not store in the bathroom.

Keep all medicines away from bbaies and pets.
